I am Olga Denysiuk, an operating ophthalmologist, MD, PhD, Docent (asociate professor), assistant to the ophthalmology department.

My education began at Bogomolets’ National Medical University in the specialty “Ophthalmology” in 2011.

In 2020, I received a scientific degree and academic title: Candidate of Medical Sciences (PhD).

Also, I underwent internships both within and outside of Ukraine:

At Shupiks’ National Academy of Postgraduate Education;
In the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons (ESCRS);
In the European Advanced School of Ophthalmology, ESASO, Lugano, Switzerland;
In the Society of Ophthalmologists of France (SFO), Paris and Marseille, France.

In addition, I am:

The head of the Association of Young Ophthalmologists of Ukraine
The secretary of the Association of Specialists in Ophthalmoplasty and Eye Prosthetics
A member of the Society of Ophthalmologists of France (SFO)
A lecturer at the European School of Advanced Studies in Ophthalmology ESASO, Lugano, Switzerland
A member of the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons (ESCRS)
A member of the European Society of Retina Specialists (EURETINA)

I am the author of 50 scientific papers in leading professional publications, including foreign ones.

Also, I have 1 patent for a utility model in co-authorship and 1 patent for an invention.

Regular eye examinations are necessary for you to maintain the health of your eyes and good vision. In addition, an eye examination can reveal more information about your health than you expect. In some cases, an ophthalmologist can make conclusions about the general state of health. Your eyes will tell the doctor about the condition of the veins and arteries more than any other organ.

An ophthalmologist can also detect early symptoms of diseases that can worsen vision over time. For this reason, regular eye examinations are very important, even if you do not experience any problems with your vision. Eye examinations should be done at least once a year, even if you have excellent vision.
